Proposed New Wall

Proposed New Wall

The “J.C. Stewart Memorial Wall of Service” is currently under construction!

J.C. and Anna Stewart were the original owners of our property. Their generosity allowed us to plant roots in Maryland and secure the headquarters for our mission to protect children.

For their benevolence and since the Good Knight Network was founded by law enforcement officers who served their nation and community with honor, and because of the service of so many volunteers and community members, we are dedicating this new wall to all who have chosen to serve others.  It is a testament to the dedication and service of many, and it is as beautiful and strong as those we honor. This wall will be a standing memorial to honor those who came before us while teaching our children the value of service for generations to come. We believe by being role models of service to this generation so they will grow into adults that serve and protect one another.

Along the inner perimeter of the wall will be a peaceful walking path with dedication plaques on memorial pedestals. All donations will support the Make America Aware Campaign for 2016-2017.

Donors will be recognized with their name (optional) or their honoree’s name on our website and with a commemorative physical plaque on the Castle property. Levels of giving will be on our website as well:

  • sponsor a family – $150
  • sponsor a class – $1,000
  • sponsor a grade level – $1,750
  • sponsor an entire school or community group – $2,500 – Gold Donor
  • sponsor two schools – $5,000 – Platinum Donor

The path will have exhibits from cultures around the world. Each exhibit will detail the noble characteristics of the “knighthood” from each country, along with historical artifacts. The Museum’s goal is to show the interconnectedness of all cultures and prove that underneath the skin, beyond the beliefs and boundaries, we are all the same. Tolerance and Acceptance is the message that will be focused upon, so that the generation of youth and their families that visit the Good Knight Castle Museum will better understand others’  points of view.

The “Interconnectedness Exhibit” will premier in Summer of 2017. During the 2016-2017 school year middle school and high school students can enter GKCEN’s “Pick my Exhibit” contest. Students will research a culture’s “knighthood” and write an essay along with designing an exhibit. Twelve winners will be chosen to be showcased along the “Interconnectedness Exhibit” path. The campaign’s goal is to reach 100,000 youth in every state with GKCEN’s Shield of Protection Program. Through your generous donation we will be able to provide educational materials to protect and save thousands of children.
